In 1974 Hubbardton Forge began designing and hand forging their unique lighting in a drafty old barn in Hubbardton Vermont.  The heirloom quality and timeless designs of their fixtures remind you of a time when craftsmanship and unique artistic ideas went together using basic raw materials.  Their simple and elegant products blend form and function beautifully and can be used in a wide variety of home styles. 

As Hubbardton Forge grew, their concern for the environment as well as a quality product was apparent.  They have earned the Governors award for environmental excellence numerous times.  Many of their fixtures can be ordered with an energy star rated fluorescent ballast, and there are also many ADA approved wall sconces in their line.
