30 Day Warranty & Return Policy

We stand behind all of your lighting purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to Alternative Lighting within 30 days from the receipt of item. Alternative Lighting will offer you the opportunity to exchange the item or refund your purchase price. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges and 25% restocking fee.  Alternative Lighting will not accept returns after 30 days, and cannot accept returns for custom or non-stocking products at any time except if damaged.

All returns must be authorized. To receive a Alternative Lighting Return Authorization, send an e-mail to info@AltLighting.com  and provide us with your order number, date purchased, reason for return, and contact information.

We will issue a Return Authorization Number and arrange to have your item returned. Return Authorizations are processed during normal customer service business hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm EST.

Upon receipt and inspection of returned item, Alternative Lighting will send replacement item or issue a refund to the same credit card used for your purchase less shipping and any applicable restock charges. Returned items must be in good condition, in original packaging and in resalable condition. Our customer services representatives will work with you to make processing your return as simple and "hassle-free" as possible.

Custom/Special Orders

We special order each item from the manufacturer for you.  If you would like a custom or non-stocking finish, please contact us for a custom quote.  If you have any questions regarding your order, do not hesitate to contact us to address your concerns.

Most orders ship within 1-2 weeks.

Alternative Lighting offers Free Ground Shipping for all orders over $200 and shipped within the continental United States. Alternative Lighting is committed to protecting your privacy. Your name, address and credit card information provided to our SSL compliant secure servers will only be used for the purpose of processing your purchases and providing Alternative Lighting customer service. We do not supply or sell your information to any other parties or institutions.
